Future and Jobs for Youth in the 21st Century

  • The Future Fair is a series of events that seek to join young people from 16 to 29 years old in order  to improve their employability conditions and provide tools for access to the labour market, with the support of national and regional companies which represent different productive sectors and providing a regional scope. It is coordinated by the National Institute of Youth with the collaboration of the Ministry of Production and Labour.

The objectives of the Future Fairs are: facilitate contact with companies,  provide training to support insertion in the labour market, enhance an approach to the digital and technological trends supporting the management of projects, the development of soft and entrepreneurial skills, and the vocational orientation of young people. The activities are managed by the staff of the National Institute of Youth and the Ministry of Production and Labor. The commitment intends to do this by linking youth with the private sector as well as by strengthening their employability skills with the tools and strategies necessary to find and obtain jobs.

  • San Nicolás, Province of Buenos Aires (June)

  • Córdoba, Province of Córdoba (September)
  • La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires (October)

Deliverables and links to SDG targets

    This is number of youths that are expected to be impacted by this policy during the current commitment which is an expansion of 103,000 already reached in previous editions of Future Fairs.
