description

The commitment to provide jobs is carried out by undertaking, production, installation and operations and maintenance of bio-toilets in India.

The management and the Board Members oversee everything.

The jobs provided to youth will bring youth from informal sector and bottom of pyramid (BoP) or low-income families to the mainstream economy. The youth will get uniforms and shoes, apart from other protective gear for working; bank accounts are opened for them, they and their families are covered for health and life insurance, and contribution from employer-employee towards old-age pension.

Banka BioLoo manufactures, installs and services bio-toilets, also referred to as green toilets, as these toilets treat waste onsite, thereby contributing to a greener economy.

Gender equality is one of the key elements of the company's commitment - both as employer and as service provider. The bioloos strengthen security, dignity and health aspects of women at home, at workplace and girl students in the schools. Similarly, we encourage recruitment of young women as much the nature of work permits.
