description

Entrepreneurship and self-employment provide economic opportunities for the world’s largest ever population of young women and men to create more and better jobs in the private sector. Unleashing the potential of young women and men as drivers of job creation and economic growth is not only desirable but critical for sustainable development. The event programme will cover three main themes: 1. Promoting an enabling policy and regulatory environment for youth entrepreneurship and self-employment; 2. Facilitating access to markets, networks, knowledge and skills for young entrepreneurs and youth in businesses; 3. Facilitating access to finance for young entrepreneurs and youth in businesses.
