MSME Day 2018: 'The Youth Dimension'

Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) Day is celebrated each year on 27 June. MSME Day 2018 will be dedicated to youth and will cover topics such as youth entrepreneurship and youth employment. It will be an occasion to recognize the important role MSMEs play in creating jobs for youth and the prospects and challenges in youth entrepreneurship. The event will also highlight how MSMEs contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

ITC will host events at its headquarters in Geneva and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. ITC is a core member of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth, a United Nations system-wide effort to scale up action and impact on youth employment in support of the 2030 Agenda. ITC specifically focuses on the implementation of youth entrepreneurship and self-employment.
