Asia-Pacific Forum on Youth Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Asia-Pacific Forum on Youth leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (APFYLIE) will be held on 1 - 3 August 2018 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, and will be organized by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the All-China Youth Federation, and with the support of Baoshang Bank. The forum aims to foster youth-led entrepreneurship and accelerate the implementation of the SDGs, with a strong focus on networking and policy-making.

The Asia-Pacific Forum on Youth Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship presents a unique opportunity for important stakeholders to exchange knowledge and experiences on youth-led entrepreneurs and social innovators, government officials, the private sectors, and representatives from the UN and other international organizations to foster an enabling environment for young change-makers to drive social change through innovation and entrepreneurship. The forum will also include the planning meeting of the ‘‘Regional Youth Employment Alliance of Incubators’’, a multi-stakeholder network to empower youth-led entrepreneurship and social innovation, the regional policy dialogue on youth leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as inauguration of the ‘‘Asia-Pacific Youth Impact Awards’’, an award ceremony to recognize the achievements of young people in the Asia-Pacific region, in addressing development challenges through social innovation.
