The 7th October 2019 will be celebrated as World Day for Decent Work engaging youth employees, labour association, public and private organizations to promote decent job for all.

The informal sector compromises 87% of labour narket in Bangladesh. The situation of decent work environment in workplace is very fragile. Though govt. produced good laws and policies regarding promotion of decent work, the implication of laws and policies are very disappointing. In line with this, the Workd Day for Decent Work will be celebrated engaging multilevel relevant stakeholders to promote decent work environment in workplaces as per law and regulations in the country.
