The MFA promotes Dutch interests and values around the world. The MFA assists Dutch nationals abroad and represents the Netherlands in negotiations and cooperation in the European Union and multilateral organizations. Policy objectives are prevention of conflict and instability, reduction of poverty and inequality and promotion of sustainable inclusive growth and climate action. We aim to address the root causes by investing in perspectives for people and planet where this is most needed.
